With strengths in research, marketing, sales, business development, operations and general management, Mark decided to start Dockser Management in 2010. DM offers expertise as consultants, advisors and interim C-level managers for early stage companies as well as innovation groups in larger companies, with a focus on disruptive technologies and services. We have led new business opportunities in fields ranging from packaged goods to batteries to ocean power to transformative furniture to digital therapeutics to wine.

Mark Dockser is a seasoned CEO/COO, Entrepreneur and Board Member who synthesizes innovative technology, customer understanding, and the ability to motivate teams to achieve meaningful results.
He brings a successful track record starting up new companies, redefining businesses, and in identifying and exploiting new opportunities to transform businesses. As a key leader at Coravin, iRobot, and Keurig he has the demonstrated drive and acumen to both define strategy as well as manage operations.
Mark graduated from Tufts University, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in Economics and received his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Dockser serves as a new business mentor on both a formal and informal basis, volunteering with Northeastern’s Venture Mentoring Network, MIT’s Venture Mentoring Service as well as advising teams and serving as a judge at Tufts $100k competitions. He serves as an advisor to several consumer and technology companies and is the Chair of the Town of Reading Select Board.
Mark has a penchant for mentoring and teaching which led him to his first teaching gig at Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business as an adjunct professor teaching Branding, Marketing and Sales of Innovation Products and Customers & Markets. He is also a member of the Affiliated Faculty at Emerson College where he teaches course in Global Branding, Marketing/Sales/Service and Communications Planning.
Mark led a start-up consumer technology company called Coravin with a device that allows you to enjoy wine from any bottle without removing the cork. As founding President, he took the product from proof of concept, creating a consumer preferred, highly stylized device with a groundswell of support from the professional and amateur wine
Mark led a start-up consumer technology company called Coravin with a device that allows you to enjoy wine from any bottle without removing the cork. As founding President, he took the product from proof of concept, creating a consumer preferred, highly stylized device with a groundswell of support from the professional and amateur wine communities. Key activities included business planning, research, development, sourcing and supply chain, finance, fundraising, testing, pre-launch activities and then launch. The company is thriving, and Mark remains an active shareholder.
Prior to Coravin, Mark led the growth of the rechargeable battery business for Uniross/UltraLast, serving most recently as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer and Industrial businesses. He also launched and served as President of Uniross’s global online battery business and worked in Europe as their head of global marketing. He is fluent in French and has traveled extensively and conducted business throughout the EU and Asia.
Mark was a pivotal leader in the creation of emerging, high profile businesses including the home robotics business at iRobot where he led the launch of the Roomba into the consumer market, the single serve coffee business at Keurig where he served as VP Marketing and then started the Consumer Division, and for Solectria where he led planning and business development that laid the groundwork for the emerging electric vehicle business in the mid-1990’s.
Earlier in his career, Dockser served as VP North America for Kryptonite Corporation makers of the famous horseshoe shaped bicycle locks, and as VP Marketing for Safer, a venture backed manufacturer and marketer of non-toxic pesticides. He began his career in the consumer packaged goods world as marketing manager for GE Lighting and in the consumer durables business as a product planner as well as a territory sales manager for GE Major Appliances.
